DNSHE is a non-profit domain distribution platform driven by a Singapore youth team. We aim to lower the barrier to creating content on the internet by providing free, accessible domain infrastructure for developers, students, and open-source enthusiasts worldwide.
The basic domain service is free forever, with no credit card or payment information required and no forced advertising on your domain or website. Use it for a personal blog, portfolio, open-source project, API endpoint, or automation service.
This repository introduces DNSHE Free Domains and provides registration guidance, suffix information, and links to API documentation. Register domains and manage DNS in the DNSHE Console.
- Free registration and renewal: No hidden fees for the basic service. Renew for free, or unlock permanent validity through the friend-assistance program.
- Multiple DNS record types: Manage A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SRV, CAA, and other records for websites, email, and domain verification.
- Custom nameservers: Use DNSHE DNS or change NS to delegate your domain to a third-party DNS provider.
- Dashboard management: Manage domains, DNS records, and renewals in one place.
- API automation: Manage domains and DNS records programmatically from scripts, CI/CD, and deployment workflows.
The website currently highlights four recommended suffixes:
.de5.net— Tech & development: Personal blogs, portfolios, and open-source demos, such asmyproject.de5.net..us.ci— CI/CD & services: Continuous integration, SaaS, API endpoints, and test environments, such asmyapi.us.ci..cc.cd— Creative projects: Personal brands, design studios, and creative showcases, such asportfolio.cc.cd..bot.cd— Bots & automation: AI bots, chat assistants, webhooks, and automation services, such asassistant.bot.cd.
These domain names are examples, not availability claims. Check the console for more suffixes, live availability, registration quotas, and review requirements.
- Create a free account, or sign in if you already have one.
- Open the Manage domains, search for a domain prefix, and choose a suffix.
- Register the domain and add the A, AAAA, CNAME, or other DNS records your project needs. You can also change NS to use a third-party DNS provider.
- Connect the domain to your website or application, then follow your hosting provider's instructions for verification and HTTPS.
- Keep your contact email up to date and renew for free when notified.
A free service does not mean every newly registered domain is automatically exempt from renewal. According to the website FAQ:
- Free domains have a default registration term of 1 year.
- You can renew for free within 180 days before expiration.
- Go to Feature Center → Permanent Domain Upgrade to unlock permanent validity (no renewal required) for free through friend assistance.
- Expiration reminders are sent by email. Telegram reminders are also available if you link Telegram and enable notifications.
- Domains may be suspended or deleted for rule violations, or deleted if they remain unrenewed beyond the redemption period.
See the console and Terms of Service for your domain's status, renewal options, and upgrade conditions.
Manage domains and DNS records programmatically from scripts, testing environments, and deployment pipelines:

- Knowledge Base
Refer to the latest online documentation and console for endpoints, authentication, and request limits. Keep API keys, API secrets, and account credentials private; never commit them to a public repository.
DNSHE is shared infrastructure. Do not use it for phishing, fraud, malware, spam, DDoS, unauthorized scanning, brute-force attacks, proxy abuse, ban evasion, infringement, or other illegal activities. Quota bypass, resale, rental, and unauthorized sharing of account resources are prohibited.
Users are responsible for content and business activities published, linked, or distributed through their domains. To protect security and service operations, DNSHE may remove DNS records, suspend domains, restrict accounts, or refuse renewals under its terms, and may preserve evidence or report abuse to upstream providers or relevant authorities when necessary. Free services may be restricted or terminated for security, compliance, operational, or abuse-prevention reasons.
Include the domain, abuse type, relevant URLs, evidence, and your contact email to help us investigate.
